Dr. Stewart Halperin BVMS MRCVS
After working for some time in referral and emergency veterinary clinics in London, Stewart started his own practice that has grown into the Petcare Group in West London. In addition to acting as Director for the London-based surgeries, Stewart also runs the Bruton Veterinary Surgery in Somerset.
Stewart is a previous director of the London Veterinary Forum, which represents and advises some 250 veterinary surgeries in many aspects of Practice. Stewart has a further qualification in arbitration that allows him to carry out expert witness work. He is also veterinary advisor to Braidlock, an innovative healthcare company. Stewart regularly attends continuing professional education courses, both in the UK and abroad, to keep completely up to date with developments in veterinary medicine.
In April 2012, Stewart became one of the first vets in the UK to carry out Adipose derived Stem Cell transplants in a dog with osteoarthritis and now carries out the stem cell treatments for the group for dogs with arthritic conditions
Stewart is a Veterinary author and regularly appears on BBC radio as a authority on Veterinary topics.

Dr. Andrei Boitor
Andrei is our locum vet.
Andrei is a qualified veterinary surgeon. He moved to the UK from Romania a few years ago and joined Petcare in the summer of 2013.
Andrei really enjoys caring for animals and he has a beautiful British Blue cat called Neo.
Kelly Whitfield RVN
Kelly qualified in 1999, and joined Petcare in 2012 as Head Nurse at our St Helens branch.
Kelly’s main interests include surgical nursing and emergency and critical care and she is most happy when helping pets recover from an operation or illness. She is also the coordinator for our stem cell programme at St Helens, which provides ground-breaking treatment for patients who we are unable to help with conventional veterinary medicine.
Kelly has 3 cats of her own and is always available to answer questions you may have regarding your pets.
Emily is our Ward Assistant and has a Diploma in Animal Management.
Emily really enjoys caring and interacting with all different animals that come into our clinic. She has completed a 4 year Animal Management Diploma.
Emily lives with her mum and nan, 2 dogs named Buddy and Tye and 2 cats called Leo and Sandy.
Lara joined PetCare in December 2005 as the Practice Manager.
Just as the veterinary staff take care of the animals, her role is to take care of the expanding number of practices, ensuring all our clients receive the best possible service and their pets receive the highest standards of care available.
Lara is always interested in hearing your feedback as we constantly look to improve our service to you and your pets. She also loves to sneak a few strokes and cuddles with your pets whenever she can!
Lara lives in Surrey with her husband and her very spoilt cat, Hobbes.
